recent and major milestone was in the hospitality industry where the Hotel Levantes opened its doors to
customers on 23rd December 2011.
The state of the art facility which is located along Bungoma-Malaba
highway within the Central Business District of Teso North District was
officially commissioned by the Chief Public Health Officer of Public Health
headquarters.
The Hotel has invested heavily on accommodation facilities,
dining equipment, conferencing facilities and laundry machines to offer
leadership in the regional market. It has 30 rooms, a 40 pax capacity restaurant.
The facility, according to the management will provide
hospitality services in the country side to the daily business world with a
corporate touch that exhibits commitment, professionalism, integrity and courtesy.
It also envisages serving both registered and non-registered guests in a quiet
and friendly environment that will seal the guest meal to experience and
expectations.
The conference rates vary according to the duration taken,
number of days, number of participants, type of menu and other hotel facilities
requested by customers such as accommodation, tea breaks, lunch, dinner,
mineral water, sodas, projectors, slides, etc.
The hotel's long term plan is to expand and have a fitness centre or health club with sauna, Jacuzzi, massage parlour, aerobics and a swimming pool. This will transform it to superior standards hence a regional pride that will be called a city within the countryside
