HOME-BASED COUNSELING AND TESTING

Academic Model Providing Access To Health Care (AMPATH) is to launch phase II of Home-Based Counseling and Testing intervention in the 3rd week of January 2012.


AMPATH is currently holding sensitization meetings with the stakeholders including local leaders to prepare the community on the importance of the exercise and the need of knowing their HIV/AIDs status.

The exercise will be carried out in the following locations under :
AMAGORO DIVISION

•  Amagoro Location
• Osajai Location
• Kamuriai Location 
• Kamolo Location

ANGURAI DIVISION

•  Chamasiri Location
• Angurai Location 
• Katakwa Location

Community members are urged to cooperate with counselors during the exercise. None will be forced, its a voluntary exercise.
